1. Climate Literacy and Consciousness:
◦ Facilitate comprehensive climate education programs in schools and communities to enhance climate literacy among children and youth through art, sports, culture, and intergenerational storytelling.
◦ Develop and implement climate leadership modules for environmental clubs in schools and communities.
◦ Organize education and empowerment sessions for youth and children, promoting their active participation in climate action events at local, national, and international levels.
2. Community Mitigation, Adaptation and Resilience Building:
◦ Promote and support locally-led initiatives for community adaptation to climate change impacts.
◦ Promote economic opportunities for youth through green jobs and circular economy projects
◦ Mitigation and adaptation through tree growing initiatives
3. Advocacy and Policy Influence:
◦ Advocate for climate and gender-responsive policies through digital tools, media and campaigns
◦ Engage with local, national, and international policy processes to influence and promote equitable climate policies.
4. Developing and sharing Community Narratives:
◦ Develop and share community narratives to build/ strengthen a strong movement focused on climate action and resilience.
◦ Utilize community communication channels to disseminate climate-related information and engage broader grassroot audiences.
Vision
Our goal is to create lasting change by enhancing climate resilience in vulnerable communities and promoting youth and children-driven climate action. Through interactive and fun activities, we aim to strengthen community adaptive capacities and inspire the younger generation to take meaningful actions that reduce the impacts of climate change.
Main Objective
To empower children, youth, and communities through Environmental and climate literacy, innovative adaptation strategies, and active participation in policy processes and advocacy to effectively address and mitigate the impacts of climate change and keep those in power accountable.
